A two-stage tour of Majorca made by vintage motorcyles came to a close on Sunday.
Organised by the Island's Historic Motor Vehicle Society, the first stage set off on Saturday from Portol with its destination as Santa Margalida; the second departed on Sunday morning from Can Picafort, arriving in Palma at about 2pm after a journey taking the riders through Santa Margalida, Petra, Sant Joan, Algaida, Cura and Llucmajor. A total of 24 classic motorbikes, the oldest dating back to 1928, took part in this, the fourth Tour of Majorca. Despite their age, the vehicles have been preserved to the point where they function perfectly well. Only three had to drop out.
