PalmaWorried parents joined the massive protest march in Palma on Sunday against government plans to introduce schooling in three languages; English, Spanish and Catalan.

Up to 80,000 people took part including Scottish mother, Lisa Simpson, who has two children studying at the IES Joan Alcover school. She told the Bulletin yesterday that she fears for her children’s future.

Lisa Simpson has been living on the island for 33 years and over the weekend joined the largest demonstration in the history of the Balearics.
