ON Saturday evening, thirty members of ESRA South East went on an organised coach trip to support the Wine Festival at Binissalem.
A fine time was had by all and it was the first time that the S. East Group had visited this excellent occasion and all of those on the trip enjoyed tasting the various local wines and sharing their knowledge.

This year's 15-day Wine Fair and Harvest Festival, which have been celebrated for the past 48 years, proved a huge success and drew to an exciting close on Sunday.

Over the past two weeks, there have been scores of wine presentations and tastings, exhibitions of the traditional ways of pressing and making wine - including wine pressing competitions - parades of giants, live music, folk dancing, a host of exhibitions and a wine and agriculturally-themed carnival procession
Sunday's final day was presided over by the Mayor of Binissalem and the President of the Council of Majorca, Francina Armengol.
