Inspired by Wednesday’s interview with George Tunnell, a former British Council director, members of the British Council teaching here in Majorca contacted the Bulletin yesterday.

Palma.—Josie Grant and Julie Fairweather are two of four British Council teachers who have worked at the Na Caragolo infant and primary school in Arta for over a decade and yesterday they both expressed their support for everything George Tunnell told the Bulletin this week with regards to the current teachers’ strike in protest over the new compulsory trilingual teaching system the Balearic government wants introduced this term.
