AN article allegedly written by former local resident Lynn Evans in a London newspaper caused quite a sensation yesterday across Majorca. In the article Lynn states some of the reasons why she has decided to return to Britain. The report also claims that she is “sick of the listless lifestyle of the expat” and misses home comforts of Britain.

Following the publication of the article yesterday her partner George Bookbinder issued the following statement in Majorca: “Many people may have seen the article in the Daily Mail today (2 October 2008) supposedly written by Lynn Evans on her life in Majorca. Although she did indeed submit an article it bears no resemblance to what has been published.
