BY all accounts it was a perfect golfing day. The weather was just right, the organisation faultless, the course (Alcanada) in perfect condition with superb views, the food good, the bar functioned as one would expect. In other words, an excellent day was had by all. In spite of all this there was a winner for the unofficial prize (a ceramic mug) The No Complaints Cup. After a perfect day the organisers had every right to expect a dead heat of the 40 odd players. But no. There was a clear winner. Only when all the results were duly analysed did it become apparent that he had a super day. He took one of the senior prizes. Clearly nothing to grumble about. The prizes were handed out by the ESRA president Dorothy Loeffler and by Ann Lilley, Chair of the North District, the hosts.
ESRA members have a perfect day and no complaints!
