A 22-year-old man was yesterday sentenced to four years in jail for the possession of explosives and planning to attack the Balearic University.

Palma.—Juan Manuel Morales was arrested on 3 October, 2012 after a lengthy police investigation into the young man’s activities.

On the day of his arrest, the suspect had apparently just received a substantial amount of various chemical products commonly used for making explosive devices.
