The crime rate in the Balearics has dropped this year, according to a report published yesterday.

Palma.— The data presented by the Ministry for Interior  confirmed that in the first nine months of this year 30,897 crimes were reported to the police compared with the 31,144 last year.
Nonetheless the number of homicides, drug related charges and thefts have increased significantly during this period of time.
