THIS year's Palma Blues Festival is being held on two dates, today 7th and separately on 14th November in Plaça Alexandre Jaume, confirmed the City Council yesterday. Entrance is free. The principal artists at the first concert will be Aron Burton and Los Reyes del K.O. from the United States, along with Fede Aguado and his band from Madrid. The second Saturday will highlight performances by North America's Keith Dunn and Argentinian artist Alejandra Burgos. Both shows will run from 6-9pm. A spokesman for the Council's Citizen participation department said that the Blues Festival is to give recognition to a particular style of music which should be able to take its place alongside other genre, such as jazz, country, and rock'n' roll.
