PALMA
THREE ethnic gypsy women have been arrested for allegedly brutally attacking a man in a bar in the conflictive Son Gotleu neighbourhood in Palma.
The attack happened at 3pm, on Wednesday afternoon, only moments after the police had received a number of calls complaining that a 46-year-old man was making a nuisance of himself and bothering people in the Son Gotleu bar. When police reached the scene, they found a group of around 60 people standing around the bleeding body of the man outside the bar. Police immediately called for back up and over 25 members of the National Police sealed off the area where two women were apparently screaming “we've killed him.” They were arrested as was a third after eyewitnesses were questioned at the scene.
