THE streets of Manacor's industrial estate were turned into a car showroom yesterday with the opening of the sixth annual second hand car and agricultural machinery fair. Twenty or so dealerships banded together in an enterprise aimed at selling rental cars now that the tourist season is over. Thousands of people attended the event in the hope of getting good bargains on cars which remained in good condition. The show also encourages buyers to put their trust in official traders rather than individuals selling on the internet or through putting a for sale notice on a car window parked in the street.
