Concert is unveiled to launch Balearics' starring role in world travel showcase

BALEARIC tourism chiefs kicked off the prestigious World Travel Market yesterday by officially unveiling the New Year's Day concert in Palma by movie legend Woody Allen.

The annual travel and tourism fair in London is the second biggest in the world and the region has an impressive presence at the event at the city's Docklands Excel exhibition centre.

Delegates from the Balearic Ministry of Tourism and its promotional wing Ibatur began their campaign by announcing officially that the eccentric US actor will play clarinet with the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz band at Palma's Velodrome on January 1.
