Pollensa half marathon hits the road at London fair

PALMA
THE Balearic Minister for Tourism, Miguel Nadal, yesterday presented the 2010 Pollensa Half Marathon at the World Travel Market.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Pollensa, Joan Cerda, and the event organiser Jordi Llobera, the three called a special press conference to unveil the event which is going to be marketed on an international scale.

In the wake of the hugely successful TUI Palma marathon, it is hoped that the Pollensa run will eventually grow into an important annual event on the half marathon circuit. It is going to be held in April and, if popular, will boost Spring tourism in the north east of the island.
