Palma—Get ready for a polar weekend as temperatures between now and the weekend are going to continue falling and, according to the latest forecast, will, drop in to single figures of Saturday accompanied by rain, which will turn to snow in the mountains, and gale forces winds.Yesterday, the Balearic met. office confirmed that November is proving to be much wetter than usual.Since last Thursday night, Maria Jose Guerrero, head of the met. office in Palma, said that by yesterday morning, 125 litres of rain fell per square metre in Es Mercadal, Minorca, 111 litres per square metre in Lluc and 87.2 litres per square metre in Ibiza.
