LARGE crowds of applauding supporters and heckling opponents greeted the Speaker of the Balearic Parliament, Maria Antonia Munar, as she arrived at the Balearic High Court yesterday morning.
The former President of the Council of Majorca and Honorary President of the UM, Majorca Unionist Party, received a court summons last month from the judge investigating claims of alleged corruption in the sale of the Can Domenge development site by the Council of Majorca. The site was sold for half the 60 million euros offered by the Nuñez y Navarro Group which has instigated the legal action over the suspect sale.
