The unpredictable weather has kept the 112 emergency centre busy for the past two days and  there appears to be no let up in the harsh conditions for the short term.

Palma.—The 112 emergency was inundated with calls yesterday morning as the fierce storm which battered the region over Monday night calmed and moved away.
Between 7am and midday, the centre received and responded to 45 calls, nearly double the 21 handled on Monday.
