Palma.—Mushroom picking in the Balearics could soon be restricted  by new government laws,  the Minister for Agriculture Gabriel Company announced yesterday.
Company said the new statutes, which are part of the initial agriculture laws’ draft for next year are intended to protect local farmers.
The authorities want farmers and live stock farmers to be able to live off  what they produce, without being threatened by private mushroom  producers.
