THE charming town of Deya on the west coast of Majorca has been branded as one of Europe's best places to live by property experts at a top international magazine.

The internet site of business bible Forbes magazine named the sleepy Majorcan town as one of Europe's most idyllic places to live in a guide designed to aid the property investment plans of dollar millionaires.

Rich Americans, especially those who have retired, are being advised to take advantage of the strength of the US dollar and the magazine's web page lists some of the best locations in Europe, which have now become more affordable.

It advises Stateside entrepreneurs: “For anyone who wants to uproot themselves to live in one of the world's more historical and culturally rich regions, it's hard not to consider Europe.
