NEWSDESK THE 15 suspected members of the Majorcan Unionist party who were allegedly involved in an apparent vote rigging scam during the last legislature are to begin appearing in court from tomorrow, Monday. “Caso maquillaje” (The make-up case) is the result of an investigation into the activities of a video production company which was apparently partly owned by the former leader of the UM party, Parliamentary speaker and President of the Council of Majorca, Maria Antonia Munar and the former Vice-president of the UM party, Miguel Nadal.

According to the prosecution, millions of Council of Majorca euros of contracts and subsidies were put through the production company, some which was apparently used to capture votes for the UM.
