New look planned for Palma's old port

THERE are currently three projects on the table as part of an overall plan to reform and revive the old port of Palma which is where the boat show is held.

The first project is already underway and that is the reformation of the old Transmediterranea building but the construction of a commercial centre is also on the planning table and this will also house bars and restaurants.

The third project will involve the overall improvement and re-landscaping of the old port area and the promenade.
26 moorings for super yachts are also due to be built.
