As expected, the President of the Balearics, Jose Ramon Bauza, told MPs on both sides of the house yesterday that the Balearics is on the road to recovery.

Palma.—But, his words fell on deaf ears when it came to the opposition parties  with the TILtrilingual teaching programme still the biggest bone of contention between the two sides.
Bauza began his speech by claiming that financial and economically, the Balearics are far better off now than it was when the centre right PP took over from the left-wing  Socialist coalition two-and-a-half years ago and that the region is now on the right track to recovery and called on the opposition to stop hindering the region’s recovery, but to begin trying to help.
