AN eight-year-old boy died yesterday at the Madre Alberta school in Palma after suffering a heart attack in the school grounds, according to Palma council sources.
According to these sources, the boy started to vomit at around 8.30am, and then collapsed, unconscious.
A security guard carried the child to a classroom where two mothers who are nurses, and who happened to be at the centre at that time, tried to revive him.
Unfortunately all their efforts were in vain and the child, who apparently had recently had a heart operation, died at the school.
