Driver hurt as car is hit by lorry on motorway

STAFF REPORTER A woman was rushed to Son Dureta hospital yesterday morning after the car she was driving on the motorway near the Al Campos hypermarket in Marratxi hit a guardrail and overturned following a spectacular collision with a lorry. A number of witnesses to the accident called the Emergency services. First reports indicate that the woman had lost control of her Seat Ibiza when the lorry, transporting frozen food, hit it as she drove onto the motorway.
