PALMA
MEMBERS of the Guardia Civil searching for Andratx resident Gerd Michael Nundemer who was reported missing ten days ago, yesterday confirmed that they found the German's van along the Es Cap Blanc road on Thursday.

Yesterday, the Guardia Civil combed the van which the German used to deliver furniture from his Port d'Andratx business, in the search for clues as to what has happened to the 50-year-old.

Early yesterday morning, Guardia Civil divers started searching the coastline near to where the van was found abandoned while a unit from the Guardia Civil Mountain Rescue Service, which has been heavily involved in the search for the missing British holiday rep. Jacqueline Tenanant, searched the area on land and from the air.

The German was reported missing ten days ago when a neighbour found the doors to his home in the Port open with the lights and the TV on. His two dogs were inside the house but there was no sign of Nundemer who has lived in the area for the past 15 years.

Yesterday the mystery of his whereabouts remained unsolved as the Guardia Civil continue their search.
