The Socialists are calling on the ruling PP to join forces and take on central government together in a bid to secure more money for next year’s budget.

Palma.—The President of the Balearics, Jose Ramon Bauza, admitted yesterday that he is not happy with the lack of funding Madrid has set aside for the Balearics and is angry with the way central government has treated the region.
“I’m not happy with how the region was treated by the former Prime Minister and I’m not happy with what’s happening now and I intend to fight on until we get what is necessary and fair,” Bauza said in Parliament yesterday.
