Majorcan hotel company Iberostar has started its expansion in Mexico, in the Mayan Riviera, by opening its first hotel there, the Iberostar Playa Mita, it was announced this week. The Central American country has been on of the favourite areas of focus for Balearic tourism companies, which have invested since 2000 around 10 million euros in the area. Miguel Fluxa, president of the Iberostar group explained the decision of the group.
