Couple seriously hurt in accident

A husband and wife were rushed to hospital yesterday morning suffering from serious injuries after being involved in a traffic accident.

Palma.—The accident happened at 11.30am when the vehicle in which the couple were travelling crashed into the Modelmon roundabout along the Manacor road near Algaida.
According to the Guardia Civil, the vehicle in which the husband and wife were travelling first collided with an oncoming  van and another vehicle and the force of the impact sent the vehicle spinning towards the roundabout with the coupe trapped inside.
