FAMILIES VOW TO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

THE sister of Jose Manuel Fernandez, one of the four builders killed in the Cala Ratjada hotel collapse on Tuesday morning yesterday vowed to fight for justice and to make those responsible “pay.” Late on Tuesday night, the Guardia Civil arrested the architect, foreman and site manager in connection with the tragic Son Moll Hotel accident and yesterday, a further four people were implicated in the investigation, including two construction companies and the hotel owners, which could result in charges of, what under Spanish law is termed, “accidental manslaughter” being pressed against the main culprits.

Other could be found guilty of having infringed and broken workers' rights.
As the Guardia Civil returned to the hotel to seal it off and officially declare it a crime scene, tensions ran high in Cala Ratjada yesterday.
