Palma’s 5 star hotels are second most expensive in Spain for New Year

It is not surprising that Palma continues to struggle to break into the long weekend or short break market when the city’s hotels are so expensive.

alma.—The results of a survey carried out by Hoteles.com revealed yesterday that Palma’s five star hotels are charging the second highest room rates in Spain this New Year.
The average rate per person on New Year’s Eve is 322 euros in Palma, more expensive than Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, three cities which have made a real effort to try and fill their hotels over the festive period with special offers and attractive prices.
