Palma.—A day after a man tried to kill himself by slitting his wrists in an attempt to avoid being evicted, the Movement for the Victims of Eviction said that between three and four families are being evicted every day in Palma alone.
Spokesperson for the movement, Angela Pons, said that the time has come for the city council to sit down and talk to the various banks in order to reach a way in which the number of evictions can be avoided.
