THE Parliamentary spokesperson for the far left Bloc group, Biel Barcelo, yesterday warned that unless the Majorcan Unionist Party forces the former Minister for Tourism, Miguel Nadal, to resign from Palma council, the coalition will fall.

Nadal recently resigned after his implication in a second corruption investigation but is refusing to stand down from Palma council despite coming under mounting pressure from fellow coalition member parties to do so.

The Majorcan Unionists apparently intend to take action against its members implicated in the various investigations next week once they have all appeared in court but the Bloc want the new code of ethics applied and honoured.
