SPANISH TRAVEL INDUSTRY BACKS NEW PRESIDENT OF MAJORCAN TOURIST BOARD

THE recent appointment of Pedro Iriondo as the new President of the Majorcan Tourist Board has received widespread support from the Spanish travel industry.

Yesterday, the Spanish Federation of Associations of Travel Agents (FEAVV) said the move is going to be very positive for the travel sector in Majorca.
In an official statement, the federation said; “the appointment of a person who has dedicated his professional life to the tourist sector signifies a very important step forward in the development of the Majorcan travel industry. “The election of a figure like Iriondo will greatly help improve one of the most important tourism bodies in the country,” the Federation added.
Pedro Iriondo has worked in the travel sector for the past four decades and is the current chairman of Viajes Kontiki and the Balearic Association of Travel Agents.
