Ex-Balearic leader angry over treatment

THE former Balearic President, Jaume Matas, is understood to be furious over the Christmas Eve search carried out of his Palma property.
Police, led by a senior anti-corruption persecutor, raided Matas's city centre home at 9pm on Thursday night.
It was the second time the Matas apartment has been searched by the police and this time they were apparently looking for a safe as part of a serious anti-corruption investigation.
