Palma de Majorca.—Vicens was speaking yesterday after representatives from both the Workers Commission and the General Workers' Union (UGT) had handed over their written demands at government offices in Palma. “If this legislation goes through,” said Vicens “it will mean a return to the old days of speculation, where hotel chains were allowed to take up what territory they liked and the government went along with it.” “The text of the proposed Tourism law is inadequate,” she claimed. “What the government wants to do is reintroduce the all-inclusive under another name.”
