The former President of the Council of Majorca, leader of the Majorca Unionist Party and Parliamentary Speaker, Maria Antonia Munar is facing fresh charges.

Palma.—Munar is currently serving one of the two jail terms she has been  sentenced to for corruption in Palma Prison while her appeal against the second sentence is being studied.
In the meantime, Munar  has been subpoenaed to appear in court on the morning of 22 January to answer questions in relation to her involvement in the Son Oms case.
Her former Councillor for Planning, Bartomeu Vicens, has also been called to appear.
