Soller.—The demolition of Hotel Rocamar in Soller was yesterday approved by the relevant authorities.
In yesterday’s board meeting a budget of one million euros to complete the work was also approved.
The seven floor hotel is in visible degrading state and the board decided it was time for a change.
The Tourism Accommodation Board also met yesterday and not only appointed a new president, Jaime Martinez, a former councillor, but approved three other projects to improve some of the areas considered of touristy interest.
