Palma.—The new dual carriage way connecting Llucmajor to Campos will be 47 metres wide, traffic authorities from the Council of Majorca confirmed yesterday.
Although the final project has yet to be approved and no date has been given for when that work will begin on the project, technical details of the road works necessary to complete it have been revealed this week by the road department of the Council.
If plans go ahead as they stand, the new stretch will have two lanes in each direction, each 3.5 metres wide, enough for cars and large vehicles to circulate comfortably.
