Palma.—A 49-year-old man was arrested yesterday for having apparently tried to kill his two children and then commit suicide.
The incident happened at an apartment in Calle Dragonera, Palma, on Thursday night.
The suspect allegedly said that he wanted to spend the night sleeping in the same room as his 21-year-old daughter and six-year-old son while his wife slept in the master bedroom.
Inside the room the father wanted to share with his children was a bucket containing a mixture of bleach and hydrochloric acid.
