Palma.—Adecco, the Swiss multinational human resources consulting company, reported yesterday that this Easter holiday season is on course to create 10 percent more jobs than during Easter last year in Spain.

What is more, the company has singled out the Balearics as one of the regions of Spain which should reap the biggest rewards from the Easter break along with Andalusia, Valencia and the Canary Islands, which are all apparently on line to see season unemployment fall by ten percent. And, with Easter falling very late this year, Adecco is confident that many of those jobs will translate in to long term positions which will last until the end of the Summer holiday season and into the Autumn.

Demand for English
The three key areas where the majority of the new jobs are going to be created are in the service and retail sectors but languages are in big demand from employers with English topping the list.
