Palma.—The Mayor of Palma, Mateo Isern, yesterday unveiled a new gastronomy and fun route called “Assaboreix I’Illa” (savour the island) which will begin this Friday, 4 April and continue until Sunday, 13 April.
This is a pioneering tourism initiative combining gastronomy and fun and involves 28 restaurants, nine bars and a dozen cultural and entertainment establishments.
Isern said that initiatives such as this “deserve all our support because the public and private sectors are now beginning to work closely together in attracting visitors to Palma and the island as a whole throughout the year.
