England’s former rugby international Steve Redfern arrived in Majorca this week to finalise the last details of the eighth edition of the popular Magalluf beach rugby tournament to be held next month.

Palma.— Recent editions have proven to be such a success that Steven and Suzanne Lyons, who is behind all the logistical support and who this year will also organise Majorca’s Third  World Police Soccer Tournament, are thinking of expanding their Majorca/international connections and open a professional sports camp in the north of the island.
If everything goes as planned the camp will be set up  and running just after this summer.
The camps will be open to professional rugby, football, athletics and cycling teams.
“Senior and youth teams will also be welcomed,” Steve said.
