Palma.—The heavy localised rains of the past 48 hours are being blamed for the collapse of a wall and a minor land slide in Santa Ponsa.
The land gave way under the weight of the rain over Thursday night and Friday morning damaging a number of parked cars but fortunately not injuring any one.
Yesterday morning, council bull dozers were on the scene clearing away the debris while the Local Police controlled traffic through the area.
