Calvia cracking down on crime

Palma.—Calvia Council and the security forces are getting ready for the summer season.
Yesterday, the central government  delegate to the Balearics, Teresa Palmer and the Mayor of Calvia, Manuel Onieva, chaired a meeting with the security forces to discuss events since the start of the year  and what steps are going to be taken over the summer.
Since the start of  this year, the number of criminal offenses which have been committed in Calvia has fallen by five percent while the number of people being arrested has  increased by 30 percent in comparison to the first quarter of last year.
