Palma.—On average, Balearic hotel rates continue to be the highest in Spain, at around 123 euros per night, ahead of Catalonia where average room rates are 121 euros, and hotel rates have risen again this month.
Palma is now the most expensive city in Spain to stay in with average room rates of 140 euros per night, followed by Barcelona (134 euros), Seville (116 euros) and San Sebastian (103 euros).
Palma’s hotel rates are now up there with those in Europe’s most expensive destinations this month, Norway and Sweden.
