Palma.—Andraitx Council is not very popular with the local community at the moment.
Earlier this week there was outrage in Camp de Mar when bulldozers suddenly turned up and began clearing away mountains of smelly seaweed on the eve of the Easter holidays.
And then on Easter Thursday, when locals and tourists were looking forward to some quality time on one of the many seaside terraces in the Port of Andraitx, a bulldozer suddenly turned up again and began clearing away the seaweed which had built up on the small beach during the winter.
