Calvia.—Today Charley’s Angels, a group of five spirited women, will embark on a 110 km trek from Cap des Pinar on the East coast of the island to Magalluf all in the name of charity.
Charley’s Fund was initiated to help the family support their little boy whose medical problems have often been life threatening. The cost of his ongoing treatment on the island and visits to London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital are immense therefore these fundraising events are crucial.

The lilac clad ladies, one of whom is Charley’s mother, will be hard to miss as they pass through the villages of Sa Pobla and Alaro and will be glad of your support. On Sunday they will be at the waterside cafe in front of Palma Cathedral at 9.30am. For anyone wishing to join the last leg of the walk you can pick up the group at this meeting point which will leave at 10.00am hoping to reach their ultimate destination, The House of Katmandu in Magalluf, by 2.pm.
