Bunyola Council announced yesterday plans to turn the municipality into a top nature retreat for tourists, and have applied for a 100,000 euros grant from the Balearic Government to help them kick start the project.

Palma.— Both the council and the local government agree that the area has the potential to offer visitors quality nature walking routes.
“We want to maximise the region’s potential,” sources from the council said yesterday.
“We want to create and promote cultural walking and hiking routes.
“Our main aim is to make available to those who visit Bunyola a series of routes that expose and maximise all the environmental, historical and heritage  the region has to offer.”
