Palma.—The search investigation to find Malen Ortiz, the Majorcan teenager who went missing six months ago in Calvia, continues but in a “silent manner” Balearic government delegate Teresa Palmer confirmed yesterday.
“Like I said before, if we are not saying much about the investigation it’s because we can’t and shouldn’t say anything, but the search is still ongoing,” Palmer explained.
Regarding the different attitudes from Malen’s parents and their decision to search for their daughter in different ways, the delegate refused to get involved.
“ My job is to ensure the demonstrations they have been organising and are planning to do are whitin the law. Those who support it and how they go about it doesn’t concern me.” Malen’s mother has called for a public demonstration today, on the occasion of the anniversary of her daughter’s disappearance six months ago.
Search for missing Malen continues
