Palma.—The President of the Balearics, Jose Ramon Bauza, yesterday told delegates at a tourist forum in Palma that the region is looking forward to another “very positive summer season”.
The forum was attended by captains of the tourist industry and the directors of the largest multinational hotel chains from across Spain and Bauza underlined the fact that last year, the Balearics received 13 million tourists, 13.5 percent more than in 2012 and a further increase in expected this year.
“These figures give us all that extra incentive to work harder and provide better quality and value for money,” the President said.
Bauza went to claim that the tourist industry is enjoying a “sweet moment”.
