First it was pub crawls, then prostitutes and illegal street traders and now there is going to  be a crack down on party boats.

Palma.—That is according to the Central Government delegate to the Balearics, Teresa Palmer and the Balearic Minister for Tourism, Jaime Martinez, who announced the joint crack down yesterday morning.
The move has come after thousands of complaints from residents and local councils last year.
In association with all of the island councils and those councils affected by the problems of party boats, such as Calvia and Alcudia,  the authorities are going to be working with the Maritime Captaincy department which is going to be charged with policing the party boats.
Palmer explained yesterday that there are some 60 companies which have registered to operate party boats on board some 100 vessels.
